Get Inspired by the Bobcaygeon House Tour
Six lovely homes in Bobcaygeon and the surrounding area will be part of this year’s annual house tour. The tour takes place on June 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. and includes tours of the six homes, as well as tea and sweets at Christ Church Anglican on Sherwood Street. One of the houses on the tour, the Bandula home, is an 1876 period century home, originally owned by the Murphy family, which has been updated to suit the lifestyle of a modern family. Tickets cost $15 per person and are available at the Chamber of Commerce, My Favourite Things, Purdy’s Jewellery & Gems, Town & Country Decorating Centre and Stokes-on-Trent in Fenelon Falls. The tour is a fundraiser for local charities.
Stock Up on Fresh Ingredients for Saturday Night Dinner at the Lindsay Farmers’ Market
Local farm produce, fresh baking, preserves, crafts, maple syrup, annuals, perennials, and more, are on offer. The market is open every Saturday from the first of May to the end of October. 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Lindsay Farmers’ Market has been a mainstay of this historic town since 1859.
