Take in the Splendour of the Season in Historic Downtown Lindsay

Date: 12/15/2015

Featuring talented, well-known community artists, you will enjoy both traditional and modern musical selections, performed by soloists, instrumentalists, and ensembles. Dance numbers presented by the Lindsay Dance Studio will add to the show’s festivity. The Triple Theatre production team is pulling out all the stops to create one great show and hopes to raise $5,000 in one afternoon for the Academy Theatre. Highlights of this year’s show:

  • James Barker – the emerging artist winner at the 2015 Boots and Hearts
  • Rick and Terri, accompanied by Randy Read
  • Pint of Blarney
  • Many of our favourite T3 Soloists – Tom Collver, Sophia Mackey, Cory Strong, and Tim Clarke
  • Musical theatre and national dance numbers from the Lindsay Dance Studio

Splendour promises to be a wonderful family event, with something for everyone. Take a moment from this busy time of year to relax and enjoy a quality show for the entire family. Tickets for adults are $25.00 and tickets for seniors and children are $22.00. In the true spirit of giving, all proceeds from this show will go to the Academy Theatre.

The Academy Theatre is at 2 Lindsay Street South in Lindsay. For details, please call 705-324-9111 or email boxoffice@academytheatre.ca. You can also visit the theatre’s website at www.academytheatre.ca The Academy Theatre in Lindsay hopes local fundraising productions, such as Splendour, will help keep the lights on. The theatre has faced a bleak future before and the board of the Academy Theatre is hoping the community will once again get behind them.
