The largest sections scheduled for work in 2016 will be Roads 24, 9, 7, and 6.
“Once the work is complete on the roads identified in the 2016 program, motorists will notice a dramatic improvement,” explained senior engineering technician, Martin Sadowski. “This annual program is an important component of protecting, maintaining, and improving our roads infrastructure.”
Work on the extensive 2016 program is scheduled to begin in May and end in October.
“We are not anticipating any road closures as part of the 2016 program, but motorists should expect traffic delays” because of the work, said Mr. Sadowski.
The 2016 road resurfacing program addresses ongoing infrastructure needs and will see an investment of more than $3.6 million this year. For details, please contact Martin Sadowski, senior engineering technician, at msadowski@city.kawarthalakes.on.ca or by telephone at 705-324-9411, ext. 2346.
