2017 was a year of ups and downs for our local environment. North America saw wildfires, storms, and floodings. Despite this, there were some huge wins! The Peregrine Falcon is no longer at risk due to a reduction in DDT, according to the Committee on the Status on Endangered Wildlife in Canada. Monarch butterflies are also on the rise once again!
