Calling all lakefront residents on Sturgeon Lake! Kawartha Conservation needs your help! A water quality initiative will begin this summer, and volunteers are needed to take water samples and water temperature readings. To do something positive and help the lake you live on, email dbalika@kawarthaconservation.com.

Citizen scientists needed for Sturgeon Lake project

KAWARTHA LAKES – Kawartha Conservation is looking for a dedicated group of volunteers who would like to take part in a water quality initiative on Sturgeon Lake.  The project will involve collecting water samples and taking water temperature readings once per month from the end of a dock or waterfront property from the end of May to August.
