Five Ways to Get in the Christmas Mood in the Kawarthas

1. Catch a ride with Santa at one of these two pick-up locations:

At the Clock at Old Town Hall (180 Kent Street West)
At Century Theatre (141 Kent Street West)

2. Drop by the Victoria Manor Christmas Bazaar in Lindsay for tea, conversation, holiday baking, and hand-made items, including knitwear. The Victoria Manor Christmas Bazaar takes place on Saturday, November 30 at 220 Angeline Street from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

3. Buy delectable holiday cookies at the Cameron Community Church cookie exchange.

The cookie exchange takes place on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cameron Community Church School House at 5 Cameron Road. Net proceeds will benefit A Place Called Home, a homeless shelter in the Kawarthas.
Admission: $2 or three dozen cookies

4. Take in rural holiday charm at the Kinmount Farmer’s Market Christmas open house

The open house takes place at the Kinmount Community Centre from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on highway 45.
Vendors will offer exquisite Christmas gifts and culinary treats
The first 20 visitors will receive a Kinmount Farmer’s Market toonie
