Local pools closing for renovations

Starting July 2 until October 1 this year, the Lindsay Recreation Complex pools will be closed to the public. “Work includes upgrades to the safety alarm and installation of mechanical equipment, pumps and filters. The emergency stop system for both pools will be upgraded, and both pools will receive depth and safety tile markings.” The good news is the Forbert Memorial Pool in Bobcaygeon will be equipped for more visitors and we are surrounded by beautiful lakes, so there will be plenty of opportunities to get in the water!

Lindsay Recreation Complex pools will be closed July 2 to October 1

LINDSAY – City of Kawartha Lakes officials have announced the Lindsay Recreation Complex pools will be closed for improvements starting July 2. Evidence of the improvements to the pools will not be highly visible, with the exception of tile markings, grouting and perimeter repairs. The majority of the work is being done in the mechanical room and under the floor of the small pool.
