Turtles take a long time to reach maturity, so every turtle life matters! Make sure to assist them across the road in the same direction they were travelling when you found them. My passion for nature began with turtles. Catching these wary reptiles was one of my favourite pastimes as a child. I was especially proud whenever I managed to bring home a snapping turtle, keep it for a day or two and show it off to my friends and family.
