Celebrate the pumpkin harvest in Keene next weekend. The 11th annual Keene Pumpkin Festival will kick off on Friday night, Oct. 12 with the Pumpkin Pyramid lighting event at dusk in the centre of the village. Once the lighting is done, you can head over to the 'Carnevil' at the Keene United Church. Visitors can expect a night of ghoulish fun until 9 p.m. The entry fee is $5. The 'Carnevil' will continue on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
