According to new research, road salt may be harming our lakes. If trends continue over the next 50 years, there may be too much salt in some lakes to support aquatic life. The good news is researchers do believe this issue could be reversed. "As we improve management practices, we have the potential to remediate these lakes. In some cases quickly, depending on their size."
