Kawartha Conservation launches 2018 tree seedling program

KAWARTHA LAKES — The 2018 Kawartha Conservation Tree Seedling Program has launched, providing landowners in rural, agricultural and shoreline areas of the Kawartha watershed with an inexpensive way to plant tree seedlings and native shrubs on their property. While pickup won’t be until spring, with bare root one to three-year-old trees and shrubs priced from $0.75 to $1.95 per seedling (minimum orders of 25 seedlings) the program makes a great Christmas gift.
