Rhododendrons can be a bright, lovely addition to your cottage garden. There are over 900 species, so chances are you can find the exact color you are looking for! Centre Daily said, "For best growth and development, you will need a site that is protected from strong winter sun and wind, where humidity is high and where the soil is well-drained, acidic and has higher than normal amounts of organic matter."
