Judy is our Financial Transactions Manager and has prime responsibility for the processing of all real estate deals, reporting to the Broker of Record. This entails working closely with agents, their clients and lawyers throughout the workflow leading to closing of the transaction and thereby ensuring that all issues that arise are promptly and professionally addressed.

Judy has been a member of the Kawartha Waterfront team since 2010. She is right at home in our fast-paced and diverse work environment, and is a people person with a sense of humour.

Judy has worked in various capacities in the real estate industry since June 1986. She was a Realtor® for two years and later became the executive assistant to the manager for a large real estate office with 75 realtors in Markham, Ontario.

She was born in a small town on Georgian Bay in Northern Ontario. She and her husband first bought waterfront in the Kawarthas in the spring of 1982, lured by the less-than-two-hour drive from their house in the GTA. But Judy always wanted a permanent home on the water. She got her wish when they bought a house on Balsam Lake in June 1989 with the intention of moving there one day.

Judy’s passion is music. With her Dad’s fiddle, which is over 100 years old, Judy plays the old tunes she heard her Dad play while she was growing up. “It doesn’t get much better than sitting on the deck, overlooking the water, and playing the fiddle for a few hours when no one is around on a beautiful, sunny day,” says Judy. As you can tell, her other passion is being close to the water. She also loves to travel and spend time with family and friends as well as her dog.
